Short answer: It depends on the tree. Small trees can take well under a day, while large trees close to houses, taken down in sections, take longer. We’ll tell you how long your job should take when we quote it.
What Makes a Job Longer
- Size. More wood, more cuts, more to haul.
- Tight spaces. Trees next to the house or over the fence are taken down in smaller pieces and lowered carefully.
- Access. Carrying wood out through a side gate takes longer than loading straight from the driveway.
- Condition. Dead or damaged trees need extra care.
- Extras. Stump grinding on the same visit adds some time.
Cleanup Is Part of the Time
A proper job doesn’t end when the tree is down. We haul everything away, rake up the chips and sweep the driveway before we leave. It’s worth the extra time.
